Battle Bees
A downloadable game for Windows
This is the result of my first ever game-jam.
I completed 90% of this during the 48 hours of ludum dare, in Oct. 2020, and spend a little bit more time polishing everything up & adding little details here and there.
This was made just for fun, and is a super short bullet-hell style sidescroller game where you play as a bee shooting down flies, wasps & spiders!
I had no intention of trying to follow the Ludum Dare theme or prompt, I mainly just wanted to see if I could even complete a game in such a short time. I'm still very new to gamedev, but am very excited to make more!

This game is too addictive but very complicated, I think there are some quite unbalanced enemies (it is not that it has gone that far), the design of the bee seems a bit scary, but other than that the game is quite good! ^^
awe thank you! Yeah, balancing seems like it's going to be the real tricky bit, with any sort of game making. I've recently ordered some books on game design, and am hoping they can give me a bit of insight into doing that more smoothly.
Thank you so much for playing & for your feedback!
